The Shafiq Ahmad Ansari Memorial Trust was founded with a vision to further the legacy of Late Shafiq Ahmad Ansari who was a renowned social worker and philanthropist. The founding mission of the trust is to carry out charitable work in the field of education, health care assistance, legal aid services, help and assistance to widows, orphans, poor, and under privileged members of the society. It includes providing assistance to educational and medical institutes and organizations functioning with similar objectives. The office bearers of the Trust derive their motivation out of a sense of duty towards the bottom half of humanity which has suffered at the hands of a neo liberal world order resulting in ever rising inequality in every sphere of human life.
